The purpose of this competency is to achieve the goals of the benefits realisation process, i.e. to:
- establish the current state of what is being changed;
- co-ordinate the delivery of outputs with the management of change;
- ensure changes are permanent;
- establish whether benefits have been achieved.
Performance criteria You must be able to: |
| To be successful this process requires close co-ordination between those responsible for delivering outputs and those responsible for managing change. On all but the simplest of projects, these are likely to be different people. When applying this competency to different roles (such as programme manager or business change manager) it can be tailored to place an emphasis on those parts of the process that are of particular importance to each role. |
