- support procurement by negotiating terms and conditions;
- document contractual agreements;
- monitor contractual performance;
- conclude contracts.

| In more complex situations a P3 manager may need advice on contract law from lawyers. The more critical and complex the legal relationships, the more dependent the manager will be on this advice. The key word here is ‘advice’, it will still be the manager’s responsibility to decide how to act upon the legal advice. Depending upon the context, this competency may need to be amended to reflect the relationship between the manager and the legal advisors. |
